"I am REALLY
enjoying this cable. You know, some don't care about the difference.
Some care too much. That is to say you can spend a month A/B'ing your
brains out and forget to make music. I find it well worth investigating
when someone like yourself has spent so much of your life pursuing this.
I spend as much time writing music and I hope it shows the same fruit.
These cables are great and make a difference. The difference was instant
and very obvious. We dig!" |

"I received my
first 2 cords (guitar to pedal board, pedals to amp) yesterday and gave
them a run-thru last night. The cords I had been using were high-end,
award-winning stuff and as such I was hoping to hear just some slight
improvement with your cables.
I
did the old A/B test between my current cables and my new Evidence
cables. I was shocked at the results. The clarity, depth, and
articulation are simply amazing. In fact, I think I could categorize
every cable out there (I've tried them all) into 3 groups: Good, Better,
and Best, but your cables absolutely deserve their own new category -
called "Amazing".
I
play a 1957 Strat (real one) into either a 63 Vox AC30, or a 66 Fender
Super Reverb. I can easily say that your cables are now as vital to my
sound as my guitar and amps.
Thanks for the newfound joy!" |

Don Butler -

"Thanks for the
ultra-fast service which is a bit rare in the M.I. biz.
Had a bit to play it and compare it to a similar Klotz cable (12').
While the Klotz sounded good as well and much better than the standard
junk sold at Guitar Center. It had a nice warmth to it but it's a bit
dark.
Your cable is wonderful right out of the package. The clarity and highs
are supurb and the bass and mids are well defined and very big. It's
almost as if I have a compressor in the guitar as the notes and chords
seem to last much longer and sound much clearer than any cable I've used
before.
I
know there's a 40 hour break-in period with the most changes occuring
during the fist 10 hours. I can't imagine this cable sounding better
than it does now! BTW, I play Gretsch Guitars and use old JMI era Vox
Amps (w/ Alnico Celestion speakers).
I
will be ordering more today! do you offer any short patch cables? I have
a pedal board I use (all 5 of the effects are True Bypass!) Thanks again
Tony!!
Regards, Don Butler" |

"Today is the
first day since early June that I've touched a guitar, and the first
time I got to hear what my set up sounded like entirely using the Lyric
HG and the Siren cables you made for me. All I can say is, I got so
choked up that I almost cried. The Strat never sounded so chimey and
present. I spent a couple of hours just playing simple open chords,
getting lost in the presence, clarity, and immediacy of nuances and
harmonics I was hearing for the first time. The experience was very
emotional, even spiritual.
I
hope that my description makes sense to you, because it's the only sort
of thanks I can think of that makes any real sense to me, given the
profound experience of hearing what the cables are all about, and the
extraordinary amount of time and effort you put into making things
right. You can take it as a given that I will promote your cables to
every musician and music retailer I meet. And if and when need requires
and money permits, I will most certainly purchase additional cable.
If I ever hit hard times, I quite honestly would probably sell most of
my gear before I would part with these cables. As much as I love my
guitars and pedals, they could be easily replaced. But I wouldn't risk
the possibility that I couldn't replace these cables. They have made at
least as much of an improvement in my sound as my selection of speakers
and tubes, which involved years of swapping until I found exactly the
right set up.
In a world full of overstated, insupportable claims, you, Evidence
Audio, and the Lyric HG and Siren Cables really are the real deal. Just
knowing that is comforting, but better yet are the cables themselves,
they test the limits of description." |

"I use handmade
guitars from a local guitar maker. The day in which Fabio brought the
first cables to my home to be tested, I was going to my guitar maker's
workshop to try some modifications to one of my instrument. I was
looking forward to try the cables first so once I got there, I plugged
in my guitar to a volume pedal, then a wah-wah and the amp, my usual
live set, but this time I used all Evidence Audio cables. The guitar
maker did not realize that! After a few notes the guy turned his head to
me saying: "Wow ! here's the tone I was looking for with that guitar!
What did you change?" "Nothing but the cables", I replied. Well, we
didn't make any modification to the guitar, but we both realized on how
much a good cable like yours may positively affect the sound! Fabio was
right. That's incredible, and now I look forward to cabling all my
studio rack with your cable to see what happen. My best compliments for
your work Mr. Farinella." |

"Without a
doubt, in my mind, if American manufacturing is to make a renaissance,
it will be done through the small American companies (such as Evidence
Audio) that produce quality which makes "Made in America" mean something
again! When I installed the Siren on my guitar amp I perceived a "sheen"
which I had not previously heard prior to the installation of my Siren
cable! Feel free to use this quote as an endorsement if you care to do
so. -Ken |

"There sure a
big difference with these cables! Compared with the Planet Waves, the
Evidence difference was immediately discernable! The Evidence is louder,
and note definition is clearer, and the bottom end is nice and punchy.
In contrast, the Planet Waves cables sounded dull and lifeless! I didn't
think a cable would make THAT much difference, but after hearing it, I
was astonished! Everyone should switch to Evidence Audio cables - they
really open up your tone in a BIG way." |

"FRIGGIN
SCHWEET .... I knew in 40 seconds! I returned from the Keys last
saturday around 2:00 in the afternoon...... My package was waiting right
there by the door...... The first thing I did after bringing the luggage
in the house was take my brand spankin' new "Lyric" out.... plug it in
...... put on a set of headphones..... and freaked out because I thought
somebody musta unplugged my system while I was away... I din't hear
anything... notta...zilch... I'm checkin' everything out and all of a
sudden I realize the volume on the bass was off....... the freaking
signal was so transparently quiet I could swear it was "off"... My wife
asked me what was wrong by the look on my face... My signal had never
been this clean... I just didn't know how to act ! Next, I put on a
Richard Elliot tune called "CandleLight"... (a very bottom heavy mix
that could well be described as a sax/bass duet..... I was floored by
the definition and nuance down to the open "B"....... I could go on but
I'd just get overtly stupid in trying to dial up adjectives to describe
the detailed responsiveness and dexterity of "your" cable ! I can't
believe I'm talking about a "cable"... But, the difference is so
dramatic it's hard to deny the effect on the whole signal. The
confidence it provides too ! "You Da Man" ... EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE THIS
CABLE !!! ALL THE BEST and Thanks Mucho...... Tony Martin |

"I'm
speechless! Like I said, I have never really paid much attention to
cables and my tone has suffered quite a bit from that. I was on the
verge of getting myself a new speaker cab, but now I think I now how
huge the problem really was. Your cable is amazing! I just plugged in my
guitar, without any effects and the sound was so punchy and clear. I
could turn up to 10 and the tone didn't break at all. Even with my
complete rig of effects connected the cable made a huge difference. We
did a couple of Floyd numbers and I did it very simple, just an MXR
compressor and a Colorsound Power Booster. It was my favourite Gilmour
tone from the late 70's big time!" |

"Your cables are such an integral part of my custom rig. I can't believe
how musical the Lyric HG is. Just for reference I'm running a VHT UL w
EQ (VooDoo Amps Modded) into a VooDoo Amps 1988B Cab w Celestion
Cnetury's and 75's in an X Pattern. Between you and Trace all my tone
needs are covered and I feel comfortable knowing I have a "pro" rig that
is my own tone!. |

"I
tried your cables last night. I was very pleased. My first impression:
My tone changed. I noticed an increase articulation in the midrange
frequencies. It had more character and definition.
After readjusting my equalization, I noticed that the muddiness in the
lower frequencies was gone and the higher frequencies were much more
pleasant to the ear.
I thought I’d have to have my pickups re-wound to reduce the harshness I
was getting in the treble frequencies, but now all that harshness is
gone. I’m impressed. My sound is now focused and much clearer.
Thanks, keep up the good work, and let me know when you have that
speaker cable ready." |

"First of all,
thank you for such prompt service! I received my Lyric cable about three
weeks ago and I have been pleased with everything about it. I like a
clear, full-spectrum sound from my bass with an articulate bottom end
and no harshness in the upper-mid and treble range . Your design
philosophy and pricing were exactly what I was looking for. The Lyric
fills a void in the market.
Since 1997, I have been using cables I assembled with Canare GS-6 with
Neutrik plugs. These cables are flexible, quiet, trouble-free and they
seemed to deliver the signal reasonably well. I was pleased with them
until I spent just three weeks with the Lyric. Now when I hear my bass
with the Canare cable, the bottom end seems a little mushy & blurred and
the upper-midrange is strident to my ears. Needless to say, my old batch
of cables have been retired to backup status." |

Tom (The ToneDoctor) Reaves
"I
can not thank you enough for creating this cable.
I have a rack guitar system, as I need the versatility it affords me.
One of the things about a rack system is there are lots of cables
running as opposed to an amp and, a couple of pedals. I have gone
through great pains and funds to get my sound right. This includes
purchasing the best tube preamps, power amps, NOS tubes, and effects
(Custom Audio Electronics 3+,VHT, 2-ninety-2,TC Electronics,etc.).
The rig sounded great but was still missing something, and there was
still a harshness in the upper mids. I ordered and tried 4 Lyric cables
in strategic positions, and the improvement was substantial. This
spurred me on to purchase more cables for all key positions in my rig.
My rig now sounds incredible! The Lyric was the missing link that
brought the full potential of my rig to fruition.
All harshness is gone! My tone now is full, rich, and clear! Everyone
seems to mention the clarity of the Lyric and I agree, however what is so
impressive to me is the huge increase in naturalness. The difference is
monumental. My top end is now silky and sweet, yet clear and very open.
I'm now getting fullness, and a richness in the lows, and low mids that
I didn't even know were missing (missing links).
The difference is akin to switching to a great piece of audio gear with
tons of headroom that opens up everything else in your signal chain. My
sound is now so much more pleasing to listen to. The only place in my
rig where I do not have Lyrics running is between my mixer and my
digital effects which are set full wet. So cables here do not affect my
dry sound only my wet signal, which the mixer blends in to my sound.
I will be ordering these remaining cables shortly, as I don't believe I
can afford not to have Evidence Audio Lyrics running everywhere in my
system.
Thanks again Evidence Audio!" |

"Not
only is the packaging nice and quaint, these cables sound great.
I can already hear an improvement (or rather, NOT hear, since there is
significantly less extraneous noise).
Thanks so much for providing real quality. Yours is the first cable that
I have been totally happy with. Unless I die or lose my hands in an
accident, I'll definitely be uniforming my entire rig with Evidence in
the very near future. take care, and you will certainly hear from me
again.
I'm so excited I even showed my girlfriend and explained to her the
difference between strand and solid core, etc...and boy, did she care!" |

Vincent DeGiosio - Guitarist/Songwriter for
The
DAY RUBIES
"Well its been
couple of weeks since I received my new stereo "Y" cable. Its broken in
and sounds fantastic.
It made my tone round, warm and present. I do have a concern and that
would be the female jack. It seems the stereo cable and the female input
are a rather loose fit and I'm noticing some crackling should it be
bumped or tapped. Can you suggest something for that?
I would just be heartbroken if I had to send this back to be looked at.
I can't play my instrument with out this cord, it would be like severing
a limb, lol. Can't you tell I'm in love with this cord?
Other than that its a great job you did constructing this tone life-line
and all I can say is that I'm very impressed.
It makes you feel either totally stupid or totally a genius to think
"Wow! the cord is the missing link?"
Looking back at the abuse, the years of using eq like a sweeping,
notching, drug habit masking my tone pain, the denial, the money,
Yikes!!!!
Its funny! since I've found evidence my eq's have no control over me, I
sleep better, I'm a nicer person and all those fancy schmancy tone
shaping devices sit powerlessly in sealed containers waiting there
inevitable fait, EBAY!!! love to try a mic cable. |

"Final
Impressions: Another great product for retailers and musicians to invest
in. This is as much a needed item for studios as the recording equipment
that fills them, and as important to the live musician as their
audience. Sound is important. It's great to see there's a company that
feels the same way too."

(note: Paul asked us to make a stereo cable to feed two separate amps
from his Fishman Tremolo/Power Chip setup with a stereo jack)
"You did an excellent job on the stereo cable! It did everything I
wanted and more.
I thought the cable would get a bit chunky at the split but it isn't
bulky at all. I don't know how you managed to keep it that thin but you
did. It's very comfortable to use.
The sound quality is exceptional! I'm definitely going to have to get a
Lyric mono for my other guitar.
The information sheet was very informative. I'm curious to see what it
sounds like after its fully broken in. I didn't have too much time to
play tonight but I'll keep you updated on how everything is working
out." |

Michael VanDercreek aka OscrDGrch
I
just got back and played until my fingers and forearm were aching. I
tried the new cable and tested it against two others, a George L's and a
Spectraflex Fatso-Flex. The Evidence Audio cable had the best qualities
of both the other cables.
Here are some performance notes:
George L's: Previously my favorite sounding but least favorite
constructed cable.
This cable has the presence most other cables lack, which is what drew
me to it. But today I realized that along with the presence were some
sharp highs (not ice-pick-in-the-ear highs) that sounded harsh.
I've always hated three things about the construction of this cable; the
jack is difficult to remove from my Strat, the cable ends can wear and
need to be trimmed and reinserted, and the cable is thin and easily
twisted.
This is a great cable for patching effects because it is fairly
transparent sounding, it is a small cable, and you can cut your own
lengths fairly inexpensively.
Spectraflex Fatso-Flex: My favorite constructed cable.
This cable doesn't have the harsh highs of the George L's but it lacks
the presence as well. I like the roundness of the tone but it sounds too
muffled.
The cable construction is top notch because the covering matches my amp
(tweed) and it's FAT.
This isn't a cheap cable (in price or sound) nor is it a hi-fi cable but
it will last an eternity.
Evidence Audio Lyric: My favorite sounding cable.
This cable sounds GREAT. It has the presence of the George L's and the
roundness of the Spectraflex. Great definition of bass without harshness
or lack of bottom end frequencies. A very musical sounding cable. I
wouldn't say it is geared for Rock, Jazz, or any other single style of
music but all of them.
The cable's construction is great and may become my favorite. The
connectors are the new Neutrik's and the cable has a thick vinyl
covering. It feels durable and doesn't easily twist.
This cable is directional and comes with instructions on how to properly
use it. It also came packaged in a police evidence bag (cool
merchandising). I would highly recommend it. All in all this is my new
favorite cable. |

"After using the first cable, I was sorry that I spent $90.00
on a MIT cable. It was a store credit so there was really no way around
it, as I couldn't find anything else to use it for. Expect me to place
an order for a 20ft cable soon. I am now a full blown Evidence Man" |

|
Chris Bloomer - Guitarist
"What a difference!!!! I had been using Spectraflex from the guitar out
to the effects, and was happy with the results. BUT, when I plugged this
in, it was immediately evident that there was a difference. The sound is
much "smoother" and alive than it was before. It seems like I'm hearing
a very balanced signal (no false highs, and the bottom is very tight).
Chords were articulate, and the distortion signal was very smooth, and
balanced (I had to do a lot of tweaking in the first set on the pedals
to adjust for the new signal). Once again, thank you for the cable (it
is everything that is said to be), and now I'll be looking to buy more!
Always got to have back-up" |

Wayne Golins
"I
received the cable late last week and I'm delighted. Here's a rundown of
my setup:
Fender '52 Reissue Telecaster, 1972 Fender Princeton Reverb, 1975 Fender
Twin Reverb (with Blackface mods), Boss CS-3 Compressor Pedal, Fender
Extra Heavy Pick (picks are important!)
I like a clean, warm sound for country/jazz playing, with moderate
compression from the pedal, and a touch of reverb from the amp. Like a
lot of guys I've been playing a long time, but I have a nice,
comfortable, day job and play just for the sheer love of it. I'm a
living room picker and happy to be so.
Concerning your cable: I've known for quite some time that cables make a
difference, and to be honest with you I thought my cables were pretty
good. I use a 10' cable from the Tele to the compressor pedal and a 2.5'
cable to the amp. These are typical guitar shop cables and I narrowed it
down to these two because they were the best sounding of the bunch I
have. I compared your 10' cable to my 10' cable direct into my Twin
Reverb. My, what a difference! The Evidence Audio cable was fuller with
a sweeter top end. Clearly, your cable was superior in every way. I'm
now looking with great suspicion at my 2.5' cable wondering what I'm
losing tone wise. I do believe I shall order a short length from you to
complete my setup. Even a living room picker like myself spends a lot of
time and money on picks, strings, and tubes searching for that magic
sound and often the cable gets overlooked.
I would say your cable is like putting a good set tubes in a vintage
amp. Once you've tasted it nothing else will do." |

Charlie Kramer
"I'm
loving it. It's subtle but noticeable -- the tone is just more
"musical", especially on the high end. By comparison, my old cables seem
to have a kind of a "trashy" tone now, with an irritating high end!" |

"I'm basically
a, 'If it ain't broke don't fix it,' kind'a guy. So I've been quite
satisfied with the sound that I've been getting with the cables that
I've been using over these many years. But not anymore. Not since I
started using the Lyric HG cable. The superior sound quality produced by
this cable was evident from the first note. So clear, so true, such
presence! Absolutely amazing! I guess you don't know it's broke 'till
you do fix it." |

"I
got the cables just in time for my weekend gigs, and used them all

magic!" |

Stuart Hamm
"When I do my
solo bass concerts, it's just myself. my bass and an amp... and a
chord... no effects. The truer signal I can get from my bass to the amp
means that more of the tone from my fingers will be heard... undiluted
by a long signal chain. I have been a fan of high grade cables for some
time, and I was really pleased by how the Evidence cables sounded. A
clear, true and clean tone. What you hear affects the way you play...
and the Evidence cables make me sound and play better." |
|
|
|
Alain Caron
"I use Evidence
Audio cables not to connect my equipment -- but to connect the audience
to my music. The low frequencies are better with more 25/30hz on the low
B. They also have a longer decay at those frequencies which is very
pleasant when you play soft; the sound doesn't get "stringy" or thin.
The overall feel is also very good as well. The upper-mids and highs are
smoother but all there -- very good for the slap sound." |

"If
you truly want the best instrument cable for your great sounding
instrument, and you’re willing to spend the time and use your ears to
find out what instrument cable that is, then I think it’s not going to
be a question of if but when you come across Evidence Audio as I did.
When you do, in my opinion you may not want to use anything else. The
clarity and warmth that these cables have has to be heard to be
believed! There are a few other good companies making quality cable but
they can’t compete with the total package of AAA quality work gone into
making these cables.Great prices as well -- it may seem expensive but
you’ll probably never have to replace them unless they get lost or
stolen. First-class customer service from Tony Farinella, meaning you
can talk to him on the phone and he’ll answer all your questions. If
you’ve done your homework and talk to him you’ll soon realize this guy
knows his craft inside-out and his aim is to make sure you make a
informed decision. Unless you want to continue to have your instrument’s
true sound unrealized --check out these cables. You cannot go wrong."

"Even one who
is not an electrical engineer knows that the act of wiring consists of
building a net of wires or other connections, with different parts of a
device. On airplanes on which we fly, there are hundreds of kilometers
of electrical wire. And what is left to say about the super refined
wiring that exists between the various parts of a computer! Well, thanks
to these connections, the most desperate components are able to work
together, forming fantastic services and performances. Tony Farinella
with his Evidence Audio cables has been able to give me, when I connect
my bass to the amplifier, the security and reliability of an umbilical
cord. " |

William Wittman:
Cyndi Lauper Band, Too Much Joy
"I thought I
would try one of your Lyric cables to replace the cable I was using
between my rack and my Hiwatt amp. I was, simply put, astounded at how
immediate the improvement was. The whole rig just sounded “better”. So,
of course, I immediately got back to you and replaced every lead in the
rack with Evidence Audio cables; and, again, the difference was
immediate and obvious. Not only could I hear the difference, but at the
end of soundcheck, our front of house engineer came up and said he
“didn’t know why but” the bass guitar sounded great that day. Believe
me, I told him why! The cables have a punch and clarity that is quite
amazing really. It’s as though all of the nuances and dynamics of my
playing were missing before but are now revealed. The actual fundamental
notes of the bass seem to be better defined and more 3-D sounding. Plus
every little change in tone that I make at the amp or on the instrument
is apparent in the output. I’m now a believer. Thanks so much." |

"I, finally,
get your company name "Evidence Audio". It is funny that your slogan is
"Proof cable matters" because that is exactly what went through my head
at the NAMM show when Phil pulled out the other cable and put in yours
(I wonder did he do that on purpose?). Anyway, I love the cable. It is
great in and out of the studio. The clarity and difference in volume (am
I imagining?) is unmistakable. And for the first time in my life, I'm
treating a cable like I would my axe (honestly!). Thanks again. I will
send you a copy of my new CD as soon as it gets of the press." |

"I checked out
the cables and man they are great. "I A+B'd them with the Monster 500's
that I was using and the difference is very apparent going back and
forth between the two, I was amazed how the Lyric HG's sounded more
articulate and really bought out more detail. All I needed was three
minutes on my axe to know that the Lyric HG's are a great match for any
instrument. The "EVIDENCE" is overwhelming." |

Peter Murray -
Themidor Music
"I'm very far
past the 40hr. initiation and have been thoroughly enjoying the Lyric.
As you would imagine, I've gotten used to it, and I had to go back and
do a thorough A/B test to fully appreciate the qualitative difference I
had gotten used to.
You'll be happy to know that the bar has been raised significantly!
My test (completed only moments ago) involved the comparison of five
different cables:
Evidence Lyric (20ft); Monster Bass (20ft); George L. (10ft); Rodam Pro
Series (20ft); Rodam standard (20ft)
I lined them up at each end to allow for quick changes between cables. I
used my G. Gould 5-string straight into my Eden WT800 and one Eden
210XLT cab.
Embarassingly, my speaker cable is very standard and I don't even know
what it is. That's literally the only step of my signal chain that I
haven't obsessed over (yet!).
I set the bass to my usual settings (pickup pan centre, EQ flat except
for a slight bass boost, volume full) and the amp was flat except for a
small "enhance" boost (9 oclock) and a very slight bass boost (12:30). I
set the amp at a medium volume.
I started with the Rodam standard, which out of the hole sounded pretty
good, to be honest. It's shortcomings only became clear when compared
with the others. For example, it was the only cable that had slight
radio interference (sounded like Portugese). Then I tried the Rodam "Pro
Series" cable, which was cleaner, but distinctly more nasal.
The George L. was a marked improvement, but what stuck out was muddy low
mids, which again, weren't apparent until I got to the Monster and the
Lyric.
The Monster sounded clearer, tighter definition, slightly higher output.
And then... the Lyric.
The Lyric had as much or more clarity as the Monster, but instantly
showed the Monster to have exagerrated high mids, I'm guessing in the
1-2 KHz range. In fact, the more I went back and forth between the
Monster and the Lyric, the more I found the Monster to be annoying and
rattley.
It gets back to my initial impression of the Lyric: it's clearer at all
frequencies, and doesn't derive its clarity from a boost of the
frequencies that are usually responsible for conveying perceived clarity
to the ear. Going back to the cheaper cables revealed that they really
lacked detail, especially in the mids, and lacked sparkle in the high
range. As already mentioned, only the cheap Rodam had audible
interference.
The Lyric was smoother and more musical than the other cables. More
pleasing, and more true to the sound of my bass. That's really what I'm
after. I don't want to hear exaggeration or coloration. In the end, that
almost made me prefer George L and the Rodam Pro over the Monster,
because although they might not have had quite the complexity, at least
they were relatively even about their simplicity.
It's sort of parallel to how I would prefer a Gallien Krueger or even a
Yorkville Sound or Traynor amp over, say, a Trace Elliot or an Ampeg,
because they don't color the sound as much. Even though Traynor is a
cheap amp, it's not trying to control your tone; it's just trying to
amplify your instrument. Trace and Ampeg want to put their stamp on the
sound, and they do, which I guess is fine if you like those sounds.
So there you go! Evidence wins hands down. It would have been
interesting to compare other high end cables such as MIT, but I honestly
can't imagine what could be improved upon. One other note: I admit that
the physical inflexibilty of the Evidence is slightly annoying. But I
understand sacrifice, and at the end of the day, I'm in the business of
making sound, and that's infinitely more important." |

"I received my
"Lyric" instrument cable today and after several hours of playing and
some extensive A/B testing with my previous "monster" of a cable, I
can't tell you how pleased I am! Compared with the "Lyric", my other
cable leaves me with the feeling that I'm breathing through a plastic
straw. I plug in the Lyric and I get a full deep breath! Noticeably
better dynamics, articulation, fuller midrange and just an overall
better response. Well done! A great product that I'll have no problem
recommending to other musicians." |

"Tony, I've
been using your cables so long now I can't even remember how I
discovered them. But am I glad I did! It was like discovering the
difference in presence, articulation, and tone that you get on a low B
string on a longer scale bass compared to the shorter scale. You know it
when you've heard it! Well, that is the kinda difference I feel your
cables deliver. The presense and clarity they deliver are second to
NONE! Unmistakable my friend. Needless to say, it's the only cable in my
chain. Thanks for making the difference 'evident'!" |

leads helped me to hear parts of my instrument that I hadn't heard
before! These leads are the best I've found and I can't believe that I
let cheap leads cloud my hearing for so long" |

"It would have
never crossed my mind that a cable would make such a difference to my
sound. My hearing's not all that great (should've listened to my parents
when they were banging at the door), but the effect the Lyric HG has is
distinctive even to my ears. I haven't sounded bad even once since I've
started using it - and that even though I've played some really scary
P.A's on my last tour. Based on the evidence, the jury has unanimously
donned sunglasses and declared that the search is finally over!" |

great addition to my sound. Quite a strong, clean output and it seems
warmer actually with less noise on the notes from the higher strings." |

Adaam - Acoustic Guitar / Vocals for
Velvetene
"Well, here is my rave review of the Lyric...
First off, I was amazed that I ordered my cable on Saturday afternoon,
and it was at my door on Monday! What a great start in dealing with your
company!
So, after reading the enclosed material, and marveling at the pristine
connectors and heavy duty construction (not to mention a cool green
colored cable!), I was very impressed. My first use of the cable was
actually in the studio. My band has been in the studio recording our
second CD, and i didn't have the opportunity to throw it into the live
mix first. but i figured, If anything would come out that i didn't like,
i would hear it in the almost antiseptic atmosphere of the studio.
After laying down the first acoustic guitar track with the Lyric, I went
back and listened to the other tracks that I had done prior with my
George L's cables.
Honestly, it was almost laughable. Not to rag on the George L's product,
but sound wise, there was no comparison. My lows had a bite without
sounding overbearing, my mids were defined and pronounced perfectly, and
my highs were gentle yet very apparent in the frequencies. It just felt
good to hear the tracks back with the Lyric.
I immediately realized what my $2000 Taylor acoustic was supposed to
sound like!! So, consequently, I re-recorded ALL my tracks with the
Lyric, and we are in the process of mixdown as i write this email. Now
for mixdown, there has been little or no EQ manipulation of my tracks in
the mixing process. Just sweet sounding acoustic guitar.
Honestly, Tony, I am sold, completely. I have since used the cable live
as well, through my SWR California Blonde Acoustic Amp, and the acoustic
shines through the mix of electric guitars, bass, drums, and keys. It is
actually a part of the mix now!! I am getting so much definition between
the strings, and a great attack that i was looking for.
A big concern of mine before i purchased your cables, as you know from
my barrage of emails to you prior to my purchase, was that I had used
Monster cables before, and absolutely despised the way that the
thickness of the cable cause it to wrap up in itself. I move around a
lot onstage, and by the 3rd song, i was a tangled mess! The lyric, in
all it's thickness and heavy duty design, did not in any way wrap up on
me, or tangle up in itself. The cable lay nicely at my feet, moving with
me and not against me. It was a real treat.
Just wanted to say thanks for giving a damn about a part of a musicians
signal chain that so often goes overlooked. It astounding what a
difference the Lyric made, even over George L's and Monster. Also, I am
going to be purchasing a mic cable in the near future from you as well,
in addition to a stereo instrument cable when i upgrade my preamp to a
dual channel (piezo/pickup) system. Thanks again Tony! Take care." |

"The Lyric
cable has become an integral part of my sound. I have had the
opportunity to AB test it with my other cables (Monster, Allesandro,

are already aware of this, but I must tell you and thank you
personally." |

John Storie
"After these
past few months of touring Japan, Canada, and the western US with the
New West Guitar Quartet, I was able to test many guitar cables on almost
a daily basis. The Evidence Audio cable was the only one that truely
posessed a strong signal to the amp. Being a jazz guitarist, the cable
is crucial to my sound as I often go directly from my L-5 to my Carr
Rambler without any effects processing. Compared to many of the generic
brand cables, this one really had a different sound; full, rich, and
powerful. Thanks again for your wonderful product and I look forward to
many years ahead with Evidence Audio interconnects!" |

"I
am a pro harmonica player and I am always looking for something to tame
the high frequencies without putting a blanket over my sound. You work
your whole life developing tone and then it seems you are at the mercy
of technology in getting that sound to your audience.
I bought an Evidence Audio mic cable and some interconnects for my
pedalboard. I was expecting some improvement but what I got was
really amazing -- the low end was way more forward yet not mushy. The
high end smoothed out yet was still really detailed.
I feel like a geek going on about these cables but they really have made
a big difference in my sound. It's almost like when you have a wonderful
transformer on a mic pre. It's that kind of difference and I feel
fortunate to have found these cables." |

Chapman Stick: |

Steve Adelson
"My instrument
of choice, "The Chapman Stick", is a rare bird. It's a fantastic tool
for my musical expression but little has been done in the electronic
world in terms of research and development to attain maximum sound
quality. Well, this year I made a discovery that changed everything. I
now use Evidence cables to connect all my effects and amplifiers.
There's a confidence that I didn't have before. The sound, to my ears,
is clearer and more honest. From my Stick to my processor to my Koch
Twintone amp these Evidence connections give me the sonic quality that
has eluded me for so many years. My listening public has also commented
to me that my sound has become fuller and more present. That feedback is
a very rewarding to hear. I will continue to use these cables in my
setup and feel confident that the sound production will be the best
available." |

AJ Swearingen
- Songwriter/Guitarist
"INCREDIBLE!
I just a/b..eed the cable with my standard mic cable.
Using a Neumann TLM103 into a tube pre, I recorded a vocal, then
recorded the same passage using the Lyric.
The Lyric allowed the vocal to come through with so much more body,
richness and an overall openness compared to the standard cable! After
listening back a few times, the standard cable sounded brittle and edgy
on the highs. It was actually starting to annoy me! How could I have
lived with this in the past? It really is amazing how a cable can make
that much of a difference. You already know this, but I had to tell you
anyway. Thanks again."
